Sylvia Klinger, Also Fast paced to Diet’s Hispanic Dietitian colleague has shared a delicious fish deal with.
This dish is great since not only is it tasty, fast and easy, but it is also wholesome with lower-fats fish and tomatoes.
Tomatoes are the key nutritional resource of lypocene that lowers risk of heart illness and most cancers.
Ingredients
2 teaspoons olive oil
½ medium white onion, thinly slice
4 to 6 tomatoes, chopped
½ jalapeño chile, seeded, chopped
¼ cup canned diced pimentos
¼ cup green olives
¼ cup capers
2 new thyme sprigs or ¼ teaspoon thyme
2 clean marjoram sprigs or ¼ teaspoon dried marjoram
1 laurel leaf
4 purple snapper filets or white fish
½ teaspoon salt
Pepper to taste
Preparing:
- In a large skillet, heat the oil at medium warmth and cook dinner the onions right up until tender. Stir in the tomatoes chile, pimentos, olives, capers and herbs.
- Seasoned fish filets with salt and pepper and position in excess of the tomato sauce. Include and prepare dinner for about 15 minutes or until finally fish is thoroughly cooked.
